Q: Can I remove the hinge covers that are included in the repair kit?
Graco recommends that caregivers install and leave the hinge covers in place during normal use to help prevent the potential of pinching a child’s finger. Rest assured, the stroller will fold and unfold normally with the hinge covers installed. And if you have a travel system, the infant car seat will properly connect with the stroller with the covers in place. As with any stroller or travel system, when opening the stroller, always check that the stroller is completely open and locked (by trying to fold it) before using. When using with the infant car seat, check that the car seat is securely attached by pulling up on the car seat before using. For additional information and instructions, please reference our helpful video here.
